Annsville Creek Pier
EMWPC designed this fishing pier constructed with New York State grant funds on Annsville Creek, a serene tributary of the Hudson River. The traditional timber pier was designed to accommodate the general public as well as fishing enthusiasts and includes wheelchair accessible fishing stations. In June, 2007 the pier received a design award from the Westchester Municipal Planning Federation.

Mitchell Marina
A key component of the award-winning Mitchell Park, Mitchell Marina included the renovation of two deteriorated piers, a new timber bulkhead and the construction of a 60 slip yacht marina. Our scope of services included community outreach, obtaining permits and preparing construction documents. The marina attracts visiting yachts from all over the world bringing important revenue to the Village of Greenport. The project was funded by the New York State Department of State and is part of the Village of Greenport’s successful waterfront and downtown revitalization program.

Historic Yonkers Pier
Built in 1901, the renovation of this historic Victorian structure was the catalyst for the revitalization of the Yonkers downtown waterfront. The project received awards from the American Institute of Architects, The Waterfront Center and the Westchester Municipal Planning Federation. The renovation, based on extensive research into turn-of-the-century recreation piers, included restoration of the historic ironwork and detailing, as well as the addition of new features including a water taxi dock, ticketing office and public restrooms. This iconic structure has become the centerpiece and symbol of the City’s redevelopment.
